Matthew Dahms
Principal Mechanical Engineer
Matthew is Principal Mechanical Engineer for Dahms Technik with industry leading experience in the design, construction, commissioning, and operations support of complex bespoke industrial machinery.
He studied Mechanical and Space Engineering at the University of Queensland, holds Chartered status with the Institution of Engineers Australia, and is a Registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Professional Engineers in Queensland with more than 10 years standing.
Throughout his career he has worked as a leading member of large multidisciplinary teams in the office and in the field to delivery significant industrial design and construction projects.
Matthew has always held a strong drive to provide opportunities and mentoring to developing engineers, and students and this has become an important part of Dahms Technik’s operating model.
Matthew launched Dahms Technik in 2019 to offer industry leading engineering design and professional site services for industrial machines.
Nicole Coles
Lead Mechanical Engineer
Nicole is an Experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong foundation in industrial machines, including design, fabrication, assembly, and commissioning. She has worked in large multidisciplinary design teams and has provided ongoing execution support as part of an EPCM team.
Her most recent experience includes mechanical design of Shiploader 2A for the Hay Point Coal Terminal Shiploader and Berth Replacement Project (SABR). Her involvement spanned design, coordination, fabrication and assembly support, and commissioning of the new shiploader at the Civmec construction yard in Henderson Western Australia.
Nicole is outcome driven with an attention to detail and believes in a holistic approach to solving engineering problems.
